Following the Murakawa interview I've been thinking about all the things that don't need to be criminalised, that don't really require punishment/correction/control. A much smaller criminal code and far greater community participation around how 'crime' and 'law' (or whatever replacement concepts!) are defined.

@holly This seems so achievable too. I was thinking about how easy it would be as a small step to simply stop prosecuting things like drug possession (that white people never get busted for anyway). What could be easier? #reset

@sam_sam_sam Yes and all of the minor charges that add up for kids in the juvenile justice system. Have been thinking about that since watching In My Blood It Runs.
