@hugh oh, I like that. I've been looking for a nice centrepiece tree for my front yard, and that might look good, and my only firm requirement is that it's a native. I like the droopy look. Wonder what it looks like full grown?
@mike @hugh was interesting reading a piece in the Conversation about Noisy Miners & how the choice of large showy flowered trees has helped change the bird populations, helping to favour wattlebirds, noisy miner, rainbow lorikeets in suburbia and driving out other smaller indigenous birds.
