My favourite is the Norfolk Island public library which seems to have an official street address of "next to the radio station".

The radio station has no street address, everybody knows where it is.

When I first started making my library map I was really annoyed by all these country libraries with addresses like "Community Hall, High Street" but now I find it quite charming.

It just doesn't stop, does it?

Finding new ressources, interesting texts or challenging perspectives on my academic topics used to bring me joy and excitement, but now it is mostly a crushing feeling.

My pile of reading work and 'stuff I really should take into account too' just keeps growing and growing, and feels serverely overwhelming. Do you have any tips on how to handle that?

We were saving this for Donut Day but, well, that’s never happening.

Maybe a little too sweet but it’s pretty tasty.

Whoops I forgot I was logged in to the support site when I vented my frustration in their feedback form about some obtuse vendor documentation.

Very helpful reply back 😳

I did go out for a run but today’s is the kalanchoe on our kitchen window sill.

You can now save lists on BookWyrm, so if there's a list you like, you can find it again easily

“Hello is that Mr Sisyphus from Melbourne Water? I’m afraid I have some bad news”.

Today’s is Allium triquetrum so if you thought it was all going to be natives, sorry and enjoy your onion weed.

It occurs to me that web directories didn't go anywhere. We just call them awesome lists now.

Certainly that's a more attractive explanation than "I'm easily distracted and my requests are too vague" 😆

This is interesting. Partially explains why I suck at tightly structured project tracking, and also why I suck at supervising people who prefer it.

I had such a great and productive day (off) today and it occurs to me that I also didn't read any news. 🤔
