On Friday we rearranged all the furniture in the living room and everyone including the dog is having a hard time retraining our brains about where everything is. It's equal parts funny and annoying.

described mastodon yesterday as “the sourdough bread of social media”

I made (too many) pakoras for dinner and both humans and the canine in the house approved very much. 😋

Thanks for the recipe Charmaine Solomon!

It's the week of light projection art so we headed down to the Gertrude Street Projection Festival.

This is perfect, exactly the blog post I wanted today.

I think maybe the contrast needs to be bumped a little bit. It follows your system settings to determine whether to use dark mode. If you've ever visited my site before you may need to refresh or clear you cache to pick up the dark theme.

Start a blog. Don't amplify stuff you disagree with. Mute stuff that bugs you. Focus; veer occasionally. Add context to links. Consider waiting a day after writing something before posting it. Write for yourself first. Expect to not know what you have to say until you've written.

Russia: Invades neighbouring country, cuts off gas supply to others, triggers Scandinavians to join NATO.

Covid: Continues to infect millions, mutates at ever-faster rate.

Climate Emergency: *intensifies*

My brother: Now would be an excellent time to fly to Estonia for a business trip.

Electronics product rec wanted

Does anyone have a phone headset (probably Bluetooth) they like? I have the earbuds type but the mic quality isn't great and I make a TON of phone calls

In other good news we walked all the way to the main entrance of the Botanic Gardens from north Abbotsford and then through Lightscape and then to Southbank with no problem, so I guess I don't have Long Covid.
